02Hosting, delivery and server log files

Our website is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. It is delivered via the content delivery network bunny.net, operated by BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia. Both process data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

When you access the website, your browser automatically transmits the following data, which are stored in server log files:

• IP address
• date and time of access
• address of the requested page or file
• previously visited page (referrer)
• browser and operating system
• amount of data transferred and status code

We need these data to deliver the website, to ensure its stable operation and to investigate attacks or malfunctions. They are not combined with other data.

Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of the website.

bunny.net keeps its log files for three days and stores IP addresses in them only in shortened form. The log files on our own server are deleted after 14 days. Further information: bunny.net GDPR, Hetzner privacy policy.

03Cookies, storage on your device and tracking

This website sets no cookies, stores no information on your device and uses no analytics, tracking or marketing services.

The 3D visualisation runs entirely in your browser: keyboard and touch inputs are processed locally and are not transmitted to us. The fonts are embedded in the page itself, no connection to a font provider is established.

04Third-party content

To display the 3D visualisation, we load the JavaScript library three.js from cdnjs, a content delivery network operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Your browser connects to Cloudflare’s servers and transmits your IP address and the technical request data listed in section 2.

Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the fast and reliable delivery of the visualisation. For the transfer to the USA, see section 6. Further information: Cloudflare privacy policy.

05Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process your details (name, contact details, content of your request and any other data you provide) to handle your request and in case of follow-up questions. Our emails are hosted by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland, which processes them on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request is aimed at concluding or performing a contract. Otherwise, legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in responding to your request.

We delete your request six months after it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

06Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only share personal data where this is necessary for the purposes stated in this policy. Recipients are:

• Hetzner Online GmbH, BunnyWay d.o.o. and Proton AG as our processors for hosting, content delivery and email
• Cloudflare, Inc. when three.js is loaded (section 4)
• tax advisors and authorities, where we are legally obliged to do so

We do not share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

bunny.net delivers the website via a worldwide network of server locations; your request is usually answered by the location nearest to you.

Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA and certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists (Art. 45 GDPR). Proton AG is based in Switzerland, for which an adequacy decision exists as well (Art. 45 GDPR).

07Storage period

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated or required by law. The respective periods are set out in sections 2 and 5.

08Your rights

You have the following rights:

• right of access to your data processed by us (Art. 15 GDPR)
• right to rectification of inaccurate and completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
• right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
